Form does not begin on paper. It emerges from wax — through pressure, touch, and time. The face is not copied, but built from within. The fissure running from the crown to the mouth was filled with gold — not as repair, but as intention. Gold does not conceal the fracture. It names it. Oxidized bronze patina, singular piece.
